Community guidelines
When you join us — in the building or on the server — you are part of the Blind Community Radio family. Please follow these guidelines while you are with us. If this is your first time here as a listener, new host, or staff member, please read them through.
Respect everyone
No drama is permitted while broadcasting or attending events — here in the building, on the server, or on another platform. Respect everyone in the building. Love our staff and other listeners the way God loves us.
The Christian branch
Working in the Christian branch is for those who are saved and believe in Christ. If you do not understand the terms, talk with a staff member who knows, another listener who believes, or the pastor of your local church — that conversation is warmly encouraged.
If you are not saved, you are always encouraged to be a listener. If you follow a different religion, the Christian branch asks that you not promote it, so we can avoid unnecessary conflict. The secular branch is welcoming as well — it occasionally broadcasts Christian programs and music, and it also asks that other religions not be promoted.
The secular branch
The secular branch has its own rules — please follow them when the host states them. The notes above do not cover the secular branch unless amended by the head host of that branch.
If something goes wrong
Anyone who breaks these guidelines will first be warned by our staff. If it continues, it will be reported to our admins to be discussed. The final step, unfortunately, is a ban — we do not want that for anyone here at the radio station. We want everyone to enjoy this station.
If you have any suggestions, please reach out to an admin or the head of the station so it can be considered. These guidelines may be made clearer over time.
If you have questions about any of our guidelines, please talk with us privately.
Thank you for being part of the Blind Community Radio family, and God bless you.
